Producer PATRICK CLARKE is a graduate of Hunter College, New York City, Patrick’s career in film began in 1994 when he took up acting studies at David Mamet’s Atlantic Theatre Company. During that period Patrick kept himself busy by appearing in more than a dozen student and independent short films including the multiple award winning The Last Actor and Fall from Grace.
Inspired by New York’s Independent Film Culture, Patrick formed Maiden Voyage Pictures in 1996 and wrote and produced his first feature, Beyond the Pale (1999) which was a modest commercial success in Ireland, Australia and the UK and won awards at the Houston and Arizona film festivals (2000). Patrick’s performance in Beyond the Pale led to roles in The Magnificent Ambersons (2002) for NBC and the award winning black comedy Stay Until Tomorrow (2004) which was developed through the Sundance Institute.
In 2004 Patrick formed i4i Productions which has completed many projects including the music video One (2008) written and performed by Greg Pearl, John Illsley and Paul Brady, the feature length documentaries, Chaos in the Taxi Industry (2009), The Extra Mile (2008) and the period feature length thriller Anton (2008) which was nominated for three Irish Film and Television Awards.
