Summer Teen Campo 2011
NO experience is required, the Irish Film Academy encourages all students to get involved and have some Fun this summer!
Equipment – All students shoot on Sony FX1 Z1E High Definition
Camera’s and Edit on Final Cut Studio. Programme’s in the IFA are hands-on, so students will begin working
Creatively through Technology from the first day they arrive at the IFA.
What is Teen Campo - Teen Campo is a 2 / 3 wk Programme in Filmmaking or Acting for Camera . Time is 11am to 4pm Monday through Friday.
Supervision - Safety is paramount to The Irish Film Academy Faculty. All
Teen Programme’s are fully supervised by co-ed teaching staff.
Film Making Courses

Cost for 2 wks = €400 & 3 wks = €500 please note the cost includes equipment rental & all handouts. There are NO hidden costs for parents.
Each Student will Write, Shoot, Direct and Edit their Projects. Make important decisions regarding camera shots and will learn to work as a team with a diverse group of fellow Artists.
Start date: July or August
Acting for Camera Courses
This course is a great way for the Teens to learn from people who actively work in the Industry just what is needed to be a good Actor on set. In this course students will learn the Meisner technique of Acting from our Director Rachel Sarah Murphy ie Jo Fahey on Fair City aswell as Improv with the well known Peter Byrne & Scene Study with the amazing Feature Film Director Jason Figgis aswell as one off classes in Film Makeup with RTE’s Kevin Murnane.
All Students will receive a DVD of their scenes shot at the end of the class and 50% off our casting website Trained Actors.com
Cost for 2wks = €400 & 3 wk Programme = €500
Students that complete these Programme’s learn a vast amount in a very
short space of time & most importantly have a blast learning.
