15% has been marked off all Teen & Little Rascals Summer Camps both for last year and this year. We hope in some way this helps you the parents during these difficult times .
NO experience is required, the Irish Film Academy encourages all students to get involved and have some Fun this summer.
Equipment – All students shoot on Sony FX1 Z1E High Definition
Camera’s and Edit on Final Cut Studio. Programme’s in the IFA are hands-on, so students will begin working
Creatively through Technology from the first day they arrive at the IFA.
What is Teen Campo - Teen Campo is a 2 or 4 wk Programme in Filmmaking or Acting .Courses range from Beginner to Advanced Classes. Time is 11am to 4pm Monday through Friday.
Supervision - Safety is paramount to The Irish Film Academy Faculty. All
Teen Programme’s are fully supervised by co-ed teaching staff.

Cost for 2 wks = €400 : Cost for 4 wks = €700
Each Student will Write, Shoot, Direct and Edit their own Projects. Make important decisions regarding camera shots and will learn to work as a team with a diverse group of fellow Artists.

Building a Showreel
What is a showreel ? A Showreel is a DVD of an Actors work broken down to 2 to 5 mins to show them off at their best to the Casting World. In this unique course Teen Actors will Learn the famous Meisner Technique ( favored by Tom Cruise , Diane Keaton etc ), Film Combat , Creative Make-up, Creative Writing, Singing , Movement and lots lots more. This unique Programme will see the actors build characters and script dialogue and become well versed in Improvisation . The scenes will be shot by the Teen Filmmakers, so uniquely this Programme will allow the budding Stars to Star in the Filmmakers music Video’s and Short Films. All of which they can add to their Showreels. Each Teen will leave the IFA with a certificate that shows they passed through the course successfully and also a DVD of their work with us. Its oodles of fun and great learning !
